WED APRIL 30 ... $5011.30 PICK 4 HIT AT HOLLYWOOD using just my top two selections ($16 cost) in races 1 thru 4 highlighted by $34.00 top winner, Upper Manhatten, in the 2nd race. My second choice won the 1st paying $6.80 and the 3rd ($8.00 Pick 3 $272.80) and the 4th ($12.60 Pick 3 $965.30) then my top pick won the 5th (5.00) and that Pick 3 paid $172.40. My top pick won the 8th paying $5.80. Belmont Opening Day featured two races off the turf and tons of scratches. In four races I was left with only one selection. My top winners came in the 2nd ($5.40) and 3rd ($4.90). My second choice won the 6th paying $7.80. Still it was great to go to Belmont this day as any day at the track is far better than a day at work.

THU MAY 1 ... Still HOT at Hollywood nailing $21.20 top winner, Tissy Fit, in the 3rd race. My second choice won the 4th ($5.20 Double $77.20), 5th ($5.00 Double $16.40 Pick 3 $142.70), and 6th race ($3.60 Double $8.80 Pick 3 $23.80). Also had the first race exacta reversed paying $7.20. At Belmont I mananaged two second choice winners and two third choice winners. Better days ahead there.

FRI MAY 2 ... FOUR TOP WINNERS at Churchill on Oaks Day. My top pick won the 1st paying $9.80 and had the triple cold paying $105.40. Had the third race exacta reversed paying $23.40. My top pick won the 5th paying $5.60 and cold triple $135.20. My top pick won the 6th ($3.00) and my second choice won the 7th ($8.40) and the Pick 3 paid $19.50. My top pick won the 8th ($12.60) and the Pick 3 paid $55.00. Hollywood had two top winners making up the late Double that paid $18.40. My second choices won the 2nd and 3rd races with that Double paying $33.80. The weather and my picks have been terrible at Belmont, getting just one top winner paying $7.20 in the 3rd.

SAT MAY 3 ... DERBY DAY and emotions run very high with the prospects of a possible Triple Crown winner in Big Brown who was very impressive yet again. Sadly the filly Eight Belles had to be put down after running second. One highlight with my picks at Churchill with a $75.80 Double on races 6 and 7. Had a couple other small priced winners. My pick in the Derby, Adriano, was in the middle of a very tight horse sandwich passing the finish line the first time and could never recover. Trainer Dutrow was very smart taking post 20 and avoiding any traffic problems. Hollywood continues hot with a COLD $371.90 PICK 3 in races 5 thru 7. My top pick won the first race paying $11.60 then my third choice won the 2nd paying $20.20 and the Double paid $101.00. My second choice won the 3rd paying $7.40 and the Pick 3 paid $241.70. My top selections won the 5th ($5.20), 6th ($8.00) and 7th ($32.40) for that big Pick 3. The Double for races 6-7 paid a whopping $331.20. My second choice won the 11th race paying $4.40 and my other two picks were in the superfecta. All you had to add was the horse Joel Rosario (who has been riding great) was on to catch the super. Seemed there was a chance things were going to change at Belmont when my top pick won the first race paying $12.20 but that was the only winner among my top two picks this day.

SUN MAY 4 ... $23.40 TOP WINNER, Maternal Instinct, in the 5th race at Belmont. My second choice won the 1st ($4.10) and 3rd ($4.40). Hollywood cooled off a bit with just one top winner in the 5th race paying $6.00. Had the 3rd race exacta reversed paying $13.30.

WED MAY 7 ... $82.80 Double hit using my top two picks in races 6-7 at Hollywood. Tribal Deal won the 6th paying $26.20 as my second choice then Cedar Mountain paid $5.00 as my second choice in the 7th. Belmont continues cold although many of my top picks ran well but not well enough to win. Only top winner came in the 1st paying $4.00. My second choice won the 5th paying $10.40. My third choice won the 3rd, 6th and 8th.... all short prices.

THU MAY 8 ... $48.20 COLD DOUBLE in races 1-2 at Belmont. Love in Seattle paid $18.00 as my top pick in the 2nd giving the early Double good value. My second choice won the 5th race paying $3.90. Hollywood certainly has cooled off with only one top winner today paying $5.20 in the 3rd race.

FRI MAY 9 ... Two top winners at rainy Belmont. Had the first race exacta reversed paying $8.70. Top winners came in the 3rd paying $4.40 and the 4th paying $3.60. My third choices hit the early Double at Hollywood paying $10.20 then my second choice won the 3rd race paying $5.80 and the Pick 3 paid $16.70. My top choice won the 7th paying $4.80.

SAT MAY 10 ... $1184.50 PICK 3 hit using all my picks ($27 cost) in races 4 thru 6 at Belmont. $233.00 reversed exacta in the 4th got it started. My third choice won the 5th paying $29.80 and my second choice completed the exacta paying $189.50. My second choice won the 6th race paying $8.90. Also had the 2nd race exacta reversed paying $35.40. My second choice won the 8th paying $9.20. Had Japanese invader, Casino Drive, as my top pick in the 9th paying $4.50. He should make the Belmont Stakes very interesting. At Hollywood it looked like I had a cold triple in the 7th with a 13-1 shot on top but the stewards did not take my second choice down after bearing out badly in deep stretch. The triple with the favorite on top paid $120.30. My third choices won the 2nd ($6.20), 3rd ($21.60 Double $95.60) and 8th ($6.00).

SUN MAY 11 ... Had all of the Pick 6 winners among my top three selections at Belmont. Started the day slowly with the 2nd race exacta reveresed paying $13.40. My second choice won the 5th race paying $30.20. My top pick won the 6th paying $9.70. My second choice won the 7th paying $6.70 (Double $35.00 Pick 3 $295.00). My second choice won the 8th paying $13.80 (Pick 3 $129.75). My third choice nosed my top pick in the 9th paying $21.40 and had the triple boxed paying $211.50 (Pick 3 $384.50). My top pick won the 10th paying $11.20 (Double $98.50, Pick 3 $428.00, Pick 4 $1775.50). The Pick 6 paid $46,567.00 and 5 of 6 paid $739.00. At Hollywood my third choice won the 1st ($6.80). My top pick won the 2nd paying $3.60 and my second choice won the 3rd paying $15.80 and the Double paid $37.20. Only other winner listed came in the 7th paying $7.60 as my third choice.

WED MAY 14 ... Two top winners and three second choices won at Belmont. My top pick won the 1st race paying $16.40 then had the third race exacta cold paying $12.80. My second choice won the 4th ($4.70) and 5th ($6.80) and the Pick 3 paid $23.70. Had the 8th race exacta reversed paying $23.40. Hollywood had three top winners and two second choice winners. My second choice won the 2nd ($16.80). My top pick won the 4th ($8.20) and the 6th ($10.60). My second choice won the 7th ($4.60) and the Double paid $24.60. My top pick won the 8th paying $3.40 and the Double paid $9.60 and the Pick 3 $32.20.
