WED MAR 3 ... Handicapped for a wet track at AQU and the track was labeled fast. That alone should have raised a caution flag! Did have a couple top winners but still you should have been passing most races, as you should any day. My top pick won the 4th paying $3.30 and had the $28 exacta cold. My top pick won the 6th paying $13.20 then my third choice won the 7th ($4.10 DD $27). Had the 9th race exacta reversed paying $26.40. At Santa Anita my top pick won the 2nd ($5.40 EX $6.30). My second choice won the 4th ($7.20) and the 7th ($17.20). Had a few top picks run very well but not good enough to get the win.

THU MAR 4 ... FIVE TOP WINNERS at Aqueduct including the early Pick 4 cold ($68.75 for a $1). The Doubles paid $11, $21.60 and $15 while the Pick 3's paid $23.30 and $27.25. My third choice won both the 6th ($4.70 DD $12.80 PK 3 $19.90) and the 7th ($9.20 DD $54 PK 3 $65). My second choice won the 8th ($4.70 EX $12.20 TRI $264.50 DD $32.60 PK 3 $65). My top pick won the 9th ($7.10 DD $19.20 PK 3 $65.75 PK 4 $224.50). At Santa Anita my top pick won the 1st ($4) then my third choice won the 2nd ($18.40 DD $50). My second choice won the 3rd ($13.40 DD $146.60 PK 3 $240.80). My second choice won the 5th ($7.60) then my third choice won the 6th ($8.80 DD $35.40).

FRI MAR 5 ... $431.50 early Pick 4 at Santa Anita listed. My second choice won the 1st ($5.20) then my third choice won the 2nd ($10.60 DD $28.80). My top pick won the 3rd ($9.40 DD $62.80 PK 3 $80.60). My third choice won the 4th ($7.40 DD $39 PK 3 $161.70). Two of my three selections in the 5th were bombs but not the right one...ugh! My second choice won both the 6th ($7.40 Tribox $29) and the 7th ($4.60 EX $44.50 DD $20.60). At Aqueduct it was more of the same with my bottom selections producing the winners. My third choice won the 1st ($9.40). My top pick won the 3rd ($2.60). My second choice won the 5th ($5.40). My third choice won both the 6th ($8.80 DD $33) and the 7th ($13 DD $72 PK 3 $75).

SAT MAR 6 ... $433.50 Exacta (reversed) in the 9th race at Aqueduct was certainly the highlight of this day. My top pick in that race was 60-1 and got up for second behind my second choice who paid $15.20 to win. Earlier had the 1st race exacta reversed paying $30.40. My third choice won both the 4th ($4.70) and the 11th ($9.50). Big Pick 6 carryover at both AQU and SA for Sunday. Santa Anita proved even tougher than AQU. My third choice won the 2nd ($8.60) then my second choice won the 3rd ($5.20 DD $20.80). My second choice won the 11th ($10). Thankfully I don't get too many days like this one with so few winners listed. Tomorrow is another day.

SUN MAR 7 ... FIVE TOP WINNERS at Aqueduct. What a difference a day makes. My top pick won the 2nd ($8.20 EX $15.40 TRI $42). My third choice won the 3rd ($5.50 DD $21.60). My top pick won both the 4th ($6.70 DD $29.80 PK 3 $42) and the 5th ($5.20 DD $30.60 PK 3 $36 PK 4 $166.25). My second choice won the 6th ($4.90 EX $10.60 DD $13.60 PK 3 $29.25). My top pick won both the 7th ($3.50 DD $11.80 PK 3 $18.10) and the 8th ($4.70 DD $9.40 PK 3 $10.10). Santa Anita was off-the-turf which was a surprise. My third choice won the 1st ($2.80) then my top pick won the 2nd ($6 DD $7.40). My second choice won the 8th ($7.20). Hope to turn things around in the last few weeks of the meet.

WED MAR 10 ... My top pick won the 4th at Aqueduct ($6.30 EX $12.40) then my second choice won the 5th ($6.40 DD $27.80). My top pick won the 7th ($7.40) then my second choice won both the 8th ($4.40 EX $13.80 DD $28.40) and the 9th ($7.50 DD $22 PK 3 $46.75). Had three winners listed at Santa Anita and they came grouped together. My third choice won the 4th ($7) then my top pick won the 5th ($5.40 DD $23.40). My second choice won the 6th ($19.80 DD $70.20 PK 3 $174.70).

THU MAR 11 ... Began the day with my top pick winning the 1st at AQU (9.20). My second choice won both the 4th ($5.90) and 5th ($3.90 DD $11.20). My third choice won the 5th ($6.20 DD $10.80 PK 3 $14). Had the 8th race exacta ($14) reversed. At Santa Anita my second choice won both the 4th ($6) and 5th ($6.20 DD $23.40). My top pick won the 6th ($4.60 DD $16.20 PK 3 $28.90). Gave out 7 spot plays and scored with 3 winners and had two seconds. Winners were 3GP $7.40, 4GG $16.80 and 8TP $5.80.

FRI MAR 12 ... $150 DOUBLE hit when my second choice won the 6th at Santa Anita paying $11.60 then my top pick won the 7th paying $15.40. Earlier my second choice won both the 2nd ($4.60) and 3rd ($6 DD $14). My top pick won the 4th ($4.20 EX $4.40 DD $14 PK 3 $19.10). Aqueduct was all about my second choices as they won 6 of the 9 races. They won races 3 thru 7 all fairly short priced. My third choice won the 8th paying $25 as I stayed away from the 1-2 favorite in that race who was off-the-board. Had the 9th race exacta reversed paying $18.60 and the late Pick 4 paid $268.50. Lots of scratches for my spot plays and had to wait for Turfway to get some winners. Had the $40.80 Double cold for races 6-7. Finished the day with a $22 winner in Race 11. Spot plays are 6/16 ($65.20)

SAT MAR 13 ... ZENYATTA REMAINS PERFECT! Rachel Alexandra found Zenyatta's stablemate too tough this day. Will Rachel show up on April 9th? Let's hope so. Aqueduct cancelled. At Santa Anita my second choice won the 2nd ($5 EX $7.70 Tri $15.40). Zenyatta paid $2.60 in the 7th then my third choice won the 8th ($5.40 DD $7.40). My second choice won the 9th ($9.60 DD $22 PK 3 $19.10). Tough day for my spot plays with just one winner coming in the 4th at the Fairgrounds paying $5.20. Spot plays are now 7/29 ($70.40).
