FRI AUG 20 ... SIX TOP WINNERS at Monmouth including a $158.60 cold Pick 3! I got home from work and saw 6 top winners from the first 8 races and then saw Saratoga......ugh....a tale of two tracks. MTH began with my top pick winning the 1st ($2.80) then my second choice winning the 2nd ($5.80 DD $11.60). My top pick won the 3rd ($7.20 DD $31.80) then my third choice won the 4th ($8.80 DD $42). My top pick won each of the 5th ($8.60 DD $45.20 PK 3 $58.80), 6th ($29.80 DD $94.60 PK 3 $162.10), 7th ($4 DD $78.40 PK 3 $158.60) and 8th ($3.80 DD $12.80). Of course when I got to wager my selections went South. At Saratoga, I had the 3rd race exacta reversed ($14.80). My third choice won the 7th ($3.20). My top pick won the 9th ($4.50). At Del Mar, my second choice won the 1st ($6.80) and also the 3rd ($7.40). My third choice won the 5th ($6) then my top pick won the 6th ($4 DD $15). My third choice won the 7th ($6.20 DD $13.80 PK 3 $27.60).

SAT AUG 21 ... $488.50 PICK 4 hit in races 8-11 at Saratoga using just my top two selections. Began the day with my third choice winning the 1st ($7.90) then my top pick winning the 2nd ($5.40 DD $34). My top pick won the 4th ($4.20 EX $32.40). My second choice won both the 8th ($16.60) and 9th ($7.50 DD $81.50). In the Alabama (10th race) I had the triple cold ($147) by correctly thinking Devil May Care would bounce (DD $28.80 PK 3 $141.25). My second choice won the 11th ($6.70 EX $20 DD $26.40 PK 3 $55 PK 4 $488.50). At Monmouth, my second choice won the 1st ($7.20). My third choice won both the 4th($9.60) and 5th ($12.80 DD $79). My top pick won the 6th ($5.40 EX $18.80 DD $48.60 PK 3 $145.90). My third choice won the 8th ($7.40). My second choice won the 10th ($5 EX $12.40). My third choice won the 11th ($34.60 DD $91.60). SUN AUG 22 ... Began the day with a $13.20 top winner and a $134.40 cold triple in the 1st race at Monmouth. A few minutes later at Saratoga my top pick won at 11-1 but got DQ'd....ugh. That set the tone for Saratoga with only a third choice winner in the 8th ($5.90) after having the triple boxed in the 1st ($10). Monmouth fared better with a cold $12.60 Double in race 4-5 then my second choice won the 6th ($6 DD $13.60 PK 3 $19.10). My top pick won the 7th ($6.20 EX $29.40 DD $20 PK 3 $39.80). My third choice won the 9th ($10.40). At Del Mar, my top pick won both the 2nd ($13.40 EX $22.10 Tri $52.10) and 3rd ($9.60 DD $68.60). My second choice won the 4th ($5.20 DD $26.40 PK 3 $82.80). My third choice won the 6th ($11).

MON AUG 23 ... Sloppy and off-the-turf at Saratoga and got off to a great start with my top pick winning the 1st ($5.50) and keying a $64 triple. The rest of the day was tough. My second choice won the 4th ($4). My third choices won both the 6th ($13.80) and 7th ($8.80 DD $67). Strange meet with my third choices faring best...showing a profit.

WED AUG 25 ... $27.80 top winner, Ronin Dax, in the 3rd at Del Mar was the highlight of this day. My second choice won the 4th ($5 EX $20.70 DD $81). My top pick won the 8th ($4.80). Plenty of bombs at DMR and happy to get one of them. At Saratoga, my top pick won the 1st ($4.50 EX $9.80). My third choice won the 3rd ($3.20). My second choice won both the 4th ($13.20 DD $36.20) and 5th ($10 DD $84 PK 3 $80.75). My second choice won the 7th ($22).

THU AUG 26 ... Began the day having the jump race exacta cold ($14.40) at Saratoga. My second choice won the 2nd ($6.40 DD $17.40). My top pick won both the 3rd ($2.50 DD $9.70) and 4th ($9.90 DD $12.60 PK 3 $24.90). My third choice won both the 6th ($6.90) and also the 8th ($7.10). At Del Mar, my second choice won the 2nd ($10.20). My third choice won the 5th ($3.80) then my second choice won the 6th ($3.60 DD $6). My third choice won the 8th ($9).

FRI AUG 27 ... UGHHHHH one of those days where you just hope you had other things to do than play the races. Brightest spot came early with the 2nd race at Saratoga, having a $17.80 top winner, cold $68 exacta and cold $148.50 triple and my second choice won the 1st ($2.50) for a $33.20 Double. Get Stormy won the 9th ($3.90) as my second choice. At Monmouth, I had the 2nd race exacta cold ($18.40). My third choices won both the 6th ($7) and 7th ($9.40 DD $24.20). My top pick won the 12th ($6.60). At Del Mar, my top pick won the 3rd ($5.80) then my second choice won the 4th ($6.40 DD $20.20). My third choice won the 5th ($3.20 DD $9.80 PK 3 $21.90).

SAT AUG 28 ... FIVE TOP WINNERS at Del Mar including each of the first four races. The early Double paid $40.80. The winner in the 3rd paid $6 (DD $31.60 PK 3 $55). The winner in the 4th paid $6.40 (Trikey $52.10 DD $19.40 PK 3 $56.30). My second choice won the 5th ($6.20 EX $22.20 DD $28.40 PK 3 $37.40). My third choice won the 6th ($4.20 DD $15 PK 3 $33.30). My top pick won the 7th ($17.60 DD $41 PK 3 $106.80). Richard's Kid won the Pacific Classic paying $11.60 as my 4th choice. Had the 11th race exacta reversed ($15.60). Very tough start to Travers Day at Saratoga. My second choice won the 5th ($3.80). My third choice won the 9th ($6.90). My top pick won the 10th ($11.40 DD $52). My second choice won the 11th ($4.10 DD $28.40 PK 3 $62.50). Afleet Express paid $16 as my 4th choice in the Travers. My top pick won the 13th ($8.90). At Monmouth, my top pick won the 3rd ($7.80). SUN AUG 29 ... Had the 1st race exacta reversed at Saratoga ($22.80). My top pick won both the 3rd ($12.60) and 4th ($3.10 EX $12.60 DD $29). My second choice won both the 5th ($4.90 DD $8.30 PK 3 $30.50) and 6th ($13.60 DD $59 PK 3 $39.25). My third choice won the 9th ($26). MON AUG 30 ... $91.25 COLD PICK 3 to start the card at Saratoga. The cold early Double paid $58 and the Double for race 2-3 paid $14.20. My third choice won the 4th ($9.60 DD $21.20 PK 3 $44.75). My top pick won the 7th ($7.70 EX $18). My second choice won the 10th ($15.20). Two day Pick 6 carryover for Wed.

WED SEP 1 ... $21.40 top winner, Crowned General, in the 9th at Saratoga was the highlight of this day. Began with my second choice winning the 1st ($6.90). My second choice won the 3rd ($4.60) then my top pick won both the 4th ($3.60 EX $8.10 DD $9.80) and 5th ($4.80 DD $9.30 PK 3 $11.60). My second choice won the 7th ($10.60). Was one of those head scratching days at Del Mar. My top pick won the 5th ($3.60). My third choice won the 8th ($4.80). Pick 6 carryover.

THU SEP 2 ... Biggest news today is that there is a 2 day carryover in the Pick 6 at Del Mar on Friday. At Del Mar today, my second choice won the 1st ($12) then my third choice won the 2nd ($6.40 DD $76.20). My top pick won the 4th ($9.80 Trikey $81) then my second choice won the 5th ($7.80 EX $46.70 DD $64.60). My third choice won the 6th ($4.80 DD $27.80 PK 3 $58.70). My third choice won the 8th ($14.60). At Saratoga, my third choice won the 3rd ($7.10) then my second choice won the 4th ($4.70 EX $16.20 DD $16.40). My second choice won the 6th ($26) then my third choice won the 7th ($8.60 DD $177.50). My top pick won both the 8th ($3.20 DD $16 PK 3 $178.50) and 9th ($10.40 DD $19 PK 3 $36.25).

FRI SEP 3 ... Almost $1.6 MILLION up for grabs tomorrow at Del Mar. Will the total pool exceed $5 million? Gotta be in it to win it. The card at Del Mar began well for me when my third choice won the 1st paying $22.80 then my top picks won both the 2nd ($13.80 EX $17.90 TRI $60.70 DD $187.20) and 3rd ($6.20 trikey $24.50 DD $53.40 PK 3 $374). My third choice won the 5th ($18.20). My top pick won the 8th ($5.40). At Saratoga, my third choice won the 3rd ($10.20). My second choice won the 5th ($6.40). My second choice won the 8th ($19.40) then my top pick won the 9th ($9 DD $88). At Monmouth, where Earl never showed up, my top pick won the 1st ($3.60) and also the 3rd ($3.80). My second choice won the 5th ($11.40). My third choice won the 11th ($4.80) then my second choice won the 12th ($7.80 DD $17).
